Bird, Ann Marie Bryant (Cleveland)

Ann Marie Bryant Bird, 71, of Cleveland, TN, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014 at the family residence. 

She was the daughter of Marjorie Bryant and the late Herbert Bryant. 

She retired after serving as the gift shop manager at Bradley Memorial Hospital / Skyridge Medical Center for 30 years. She was devoted to her Lord Jesus Christ, her family and friends.  

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Larry Bird; daughter, Amy Bird Gibson; son, David Bird; mother, Marjorie Bryant; sister and brother-in-law, Glenda and Randall Kyker; brother and sister-in-law, John and Sandy Bryant; and ten grandchildren, Jonah, Daniel, Rose, Jack, Clementine and Violet Bird, and Kelsie, Meredith, Emily and Owen Gibson.   

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, September 15 at Trinity Presbyterian Church located at 1780 Stuart Road NE, officiated by Philip Caines and Dale Watson.   Pall bearers will be Jonah, Daniel and Jack Bird, Owen Gibson, Roy Tyson and Jonathan Trew. 

Burial will be in the Chattanooga National Cemetery on Tuesday, September 16.  

The family will receive friends from 3-6:45 p.m. at the church on Monday, September 15.   

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations go to the V Foundation for Cancer Research.  

Companion Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
