The Blood Assurance Foundation will hold a golf tournament on Tuesday, Oct. 14 at Council Fire Golf Club in Chattanooga. Teams, sponsors and volunteers are needed. Dinner and an awards ceremony will follow the tournament. Check in is at 11:00 a.m. and tee-off is at noon. Teams are made up of four players each.

Proceeds from this tournament go to the Crystal Green Memorial Scholarship Program, which commemorates its fifteenth year of providing scholarships to deserving local high school seniors.
To date, 166 scholarships have been awarded in Crystal’s memory. Crystal was a Dade County High School graduate. She passed away from complications due to aplastic anemia in 1998.
