Police have arrested 53-year-old Roger Alton Johnson after he was found to have pawned items taken in a Nov. 10 burglary.

Johnson, of 1910 Clematis Dr., Hixson, is charged with aggravated burglary and theft over $1,000.

William Redman said he had a break-in at his home on Gann Store Road. The front door was pushed open.

Items taken included a drill, grinder, walkboards and a 32-foot ladder.

Detective J. Meyer said, while checking pawn records, he found the grinder drill and walkboards at EZ Pawn on Rossville Boulevard.

They had been pawned by Johnson, who has an extensive criminal record.
