Shelby Jean Smith, 58, of Chickamauga, GA, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at her home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Robertine Smith; brothers, James Wesley “Bud” Smith, John Carlton Smith and Robert Smith; and sister, Mary Smith.
She is survived by her daughters, Robin Mitchell, Amanda “Mandy” Shropshire and son-in-law Adrian all of Chickamauga and Paula Stoker Folks of LaFayette; sisters, Frances “Sis” Parker, Martha Millican, Peggy Farner, Charlotte Hamilton and Carol Dodson all of LaFayette; brothers, Emmett Smith, Raymond Smith and Mark Smith all of LaFayette; grandchildren, Andrew Mitchell, Chad Mitchell, Haley Mitchell, Brandon Arden, Shelby Arden Shropshire, Alyssa Stoker and Noah Stoker; great-grandchildren, Gavin Mitchell, Zelda Mitchell, Sophia Mitchell, Hunter Mitchell and Beau Mitchell; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Wallis Memorial Chapel will be Friday, January 30, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Eric Greeson. Pallbearers are Andrew and Chad Mitchell, Brandon Arden, Noah Stoker, Adrian Shropshire and Mark Stoker.
