Grace Advances In District 5-A/AA Soccer

The Grace Lady Eagles opened the district 5-A/AA soccer tournament with a 4-1 win over Silverdale on Monday. 

Abigail Smith led the Lady Eagles with two goals.  Also scoring for Grace was Kayla Bibbs and Katie Houck.   Maddie Ferrell and Bekah Sofield had assists. 

Silverdale's goal was scored by Savannah Turner assisted by Aubrey Canter. 

Amanda Houck had five saves for Grace.  

Grace advances to the semifinals on Tuesday and will travel to Loudon. Loudon defeated Polk County Monday night.

Boyd-Buchanan earned a 5-0 shutout over Sweetwater and will host McMinn Central in the other Semifinal game Tuesday. McMinn Central defeated CSAS in their quarterfinal match Monday night.
