Billy Schmitt
Billy W. Schmitt, 87, died on Monday, October 12, 2015.
He was a tax assessor with Hamilton County for many years. He was also a loving caregiver to his wife until her death.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Hildreth Schmitt.
Survivors include his daughters, Renee Schmitt, Sabrina (Nuel) Taylor; two grandchildren, Lindsay Taylor and Hunter Taylor; brother, Bob Schmitt.
Our heartfelt thanks to the nurses of station 3 at NHC of Chattanooga for taking such good care of our father and being there for our family.
Graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 15, at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
