A man has been arrested for aggravated assault after he allegedly stabbed his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend in her home on the 1300 block of Moss Drive.

Steven Johnson, 48, was detained after he was found at the scene and both victims stated that he had assaulted them.

Timothy Turner and Sanessa Woods said that they were in bed asleep when they were awakened by the defendant standing at the end of the bed.

Ms. Woods said that she demanded he leave, but he refused and began punching her. Mr. Turner said he attempted to intervene, telling the defendant not to touch Ms. Woods, but he instead started to fight him, eventually stabbing him in the shoulder.

Mr. Turner said that he attempted to take the knife from the defendant, suffering minor cuts to his hands.
