Salzwedel, Carolyn June (Dayton)

Carolyn June Salzwedel, 91, of Dayton, Tennessee, died on Monday, October 5, 2015 at Laurelbrook Nursing Home.

Carolyn was born in Howard City, MI on March 7, 1924 to the late Fredrick Adam Antor and Daisy Florence (Franklin) Antor. She was a graduate of Howard City, MI High School, and later was employed as a cook in the public school system, in Michigan. She was a member of the Graysville Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Carolyn is survived by her three daughters, Kathleen Ellis of Dayton, Barbara (John) Ellis of Dayton , Laura (Arny) Meert of Citrus Heights, CA; her brother Fredrick (Clarice) Antor of Escondido, CA; her sister, Doris Sahlbom of Coral, MI; eight grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

Funeral services for Carolyn will be held Monday, Oct. 12 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Bud Schermerhorn officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
