Notice Of Public Meeting Regarding City Of Chattanooga Rail Transit

The City of Chattanooga will conduct an informational public meeting on Oct. 22 at the Chattanooga Choo Choo (Imperial Ballroom), 1400 Market St.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the City of Chattanooga Rail Transit Implementation Study Project Number T-14-022, Federal Project Number TN-79-1000. This is the first of three planned Public Meetings; the other meetings will be announced once dates are confirmed. The primary purpose of this meeting is to present the project background goals and objectives, time line, review peer cities / projects, and to take citizen input regarding the Rail Transit Implementation Study. 

This meeting will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
during which time there will be a formal presentation and a brief question and answer period. The public is invited to ask questions and make comments during the meeting and will be given the opportunity to make their opinions known concerning the project. Representatives of the City of Chattanooga and the project consultant team will be available to answer questions concerning any aspect of the project.
