Developer Plans 184 Apartments At Site Just Off Cherokee Boulevard In North Chattanooga

More apartments are on the drawing board for North Chattanooga.

Bristol Development Company is proposing to develop a 2.34-acre site with 184 apartment units.

The site is at Cherokee Boulevard at Manning Street and Somerville Avenue.

The apartments would be in a four-story building.

The building would front West Manning Street, Cherokee Boulevard and Somerville Avenue with structured parking fronting Stringer Street.

Proposed density is 78 dwelling units per acre.

Current access is West Manning Street, Stringer Street, and Somerville Avenue.

All buildings within a 500-foot radius of the site are less than two stories, it was stated.

The Regional Planning Agency staff is recommending approval with conditions.
