Covenant Volleyball Advances To Division III Tournament

 The 2015 USA South Volleyball Tournament's semifinals and final took place on Saturday, November 7 on the campus of Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia.

In semifinal action, South top-seed Covenant defeated North second seed Meredith College, 3-1, while South second-seed Maryville College topped North top-seed Averett University, 3-0.

In the finals, Covenant defeated Maryville, 3-1 (26-24, 24-26, 26-24, 25-19), to earn the program's first USA South Tournament crown.
Covenant was led by Ginny Moore who tallied a double-double with 17 kills and 16 digs. Also notching a double-double for Covenant was Schuyler Moore who totaled 45 assists and 11 digs. Maryville was led offensively by Nia Haller and Madison Coker who each contributed 12 kills. For her efforts throughout the tournament, Ginny Moore was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player.

With the win, Covenant earned the USA South's automatic berth into the NCAA Division III Tournament, the first trip in the program's history.
