Robert E. “Bob” Headrick, 83, of Ringgold, Georgia, died on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at his home.

He was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church, former choir director at Pine Grove Baptist Church, licensed Georgia funeral director, retiree of DuPont after 35 years of service, and a master gardener.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Millard and Ora Headrick, brothers, Mark, Ralph, Millard and Jimmy Headrick and sister, Mary Elizabeth Gray.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Fannie Headrick, children, Patricia (Richard) Monroe, Sandra Orr, Kenneth (Pam) Headrick and Tommy Headrick, grandchildren, Dusty Headrick, Jason Cavin, Ricky Orr, Daniel Huff, Justin Headrick, Stacie Monroe and Bubba Monroe, great-grandchildren, Jack Huff, Michael and Taylor Cavin, brother, Ira Headrick and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, Feb. 15, at 1 p.m. at the Dailey Hill Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends on Saturday, Feb. 14, from 12-8 p.m. in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, Tn. 37416.

Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
