Doctors Express Expands Chattanooga Facility To Enhance Patient Experience

Doctors Express urgent care center on Gunbarrel Road in Chattanooga is expanding in order to further increase its ability to serve patients. Expansion plans include a 50-percent larger lobby with more seating for patient comfort, as well as three additional exam rooms.

The communitys response to the services we are providing has been overwhelming and very positive, said Larry Kugler, CEO for AFC/Doctors Express East Tennessee. “AFC/Doctors Express has made the decision to make this significant investment, and further the commitment to provide quality health care at the speed of your life.

The Doctors Express urgent care centers and walk-in clinics are continually looking for ways to better serve the community, and with this expansion, continue to grow towards that goal.

“We experienced a significant growth in the number of patients seen last fall and want to better accommodate this increase in patients,” said Dr. Rudolph, lead physician. “Now, our expanded lobby and new patient rooms will be ready to meet this demand with professionalism and comfort.”

Doctors Express walk-in care centers provides urgent care for all non-life-threatening events, and offers on-site X-ray and occupational health services. On-site physicians provide convenient, affordable care seven days a week, including evenings. Most insurances are accepted, as well as private payment.

Three convenient Doctors Express locations are available to meet urgent care needs at 1521 Gunbarrel Road, Ste. 103 in Chattanooga, 5241 Highway 153, Ste. 121 in Hixson, and 170 Mouse Creek Road NW in Cleveland.
