Emmett Arnold McWhorter, 72, of Rome, GA, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015, in a Rome hospital.
A native of Chattooga County, GA, he was a son of the late John and Inez McWhorter. Mr. McWhorter was retired from Mohawk Industries, Calhoun plant.
He is survived by his daughter, Wanda Mae Brown of Summerville; son, Emmett Eugene McWhorter of Trion; two sisters; two granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.
At Mr. McWhorter’s request his body will be cremated.
