Ruby Carroll, 86, of Chatsworth, GA, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Chatsworth Health Care Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Daisy Roberson; brothers, Marshie and Earnest Roberson; and sisters, Mary Lou Gillispie, Myrtle Bryan and Lois Massingill.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Helen and Sidney Brewer of Chatsworth; sons and daughters-in-law, Clyde and Pam Carroll of Chatsworth and John and Kathy Carroll of Dalton; sisters, Willie Wheat of Chatsworth, Christine Wheat and Gertrude Nicholson, both of Dalton; brother, Troy Roberson of Dalton; seven grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, March 28, at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Darey Kittle officiating. Burial will be in United Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Sidney Brewer, Jr., Nathan Carroll, Robert Lee Young, Jamie Willbanks, Justin Ramos, Jacob Ramos and Tony Carroll.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, March 28 from 12-2 p.m.
