Timothy Darrell Wilson, 54, of Athens, TN, died on Saturday, February 28, 2015, after more than a five-year battle with cancer.
Wilson was a life-long resident of Athens and an employee of Thomas and Betts for more than 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Laura Jack.
Wilson is survived by his wife Doris Wilson of Athens; three daughters, Brandi Wilson White of Arlington, VA, Britney Wilson of Athens and Courtney Watson of Lebanon, TN; sons-in-law, Thomas Jefferson "Jeff" White and Chris Watson; grandchildren, Thomas Jefferson “Jay” White, Graham Wilson White and Catherine Hope Watson; mother, Eva Ledford; and brothers, Tony Wilson and Gary Wilson, all of Athens.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 5 from 5-6 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 6 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home in Etowah, TN.
