  • Thursday, March 5, 2015

Alan Shuptrine, watercolorist and owner of Shuptrine's, is offering a watercolor workshop on Thursday, April 23 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.  The workshop will be held at the gallery, located at 2646 Broad St.

Participants will learn to paint with watercolors in realism using wet-in-wet technique for the background, and detailed dry brush in the foreground. This workshop is for anyone who has ever been intimidated by watercolor and will dispel the myth that it cannot be controlled. Limited space for personal one-on-one instruction. Cost is $250 per participant/$100 for students (with school verification).

Visit www.alanshuptrine.com for a glimpse of Mr. Shuptrine's art work. Call Shuptrine's at 423-266-4453 to reserve a spot.
