Charles V. Cronan, 79, of Soddy Daisy died on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at his home.

He was born April 2, 1936 in Etowah, to the late James and Louella Cronan. He was retired from the Electric Power Board.

He was preceded in death by sisters, Betty Melton and Alma Pritchard.

Mr. Cronan was a member of the Etowah Masonic Lodge # 653 F. and Am.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Elizabeth Cronan of Soddy Daisy; daughters, Cynthia (Gregg) Hawkins of South Pittsburg, and Amanda Cronan of Hixson; sisters, Kathryn Shelton of Etowah, and Thelma Scott of Hanceville, Al.; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 17, at 1 p.m. at Hensley Cemetery with Mr. Ernie Ricketts officiating and masonic graveside rites.

The family will receive friends at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home Thursday evening from 4-7 p.m.

The family would like to especially thank Hospice of Chattanooga and all his caregivers for their kindness and care.
