Contemplations Of The Spirit Is May Exhibit At River Gallery

  • Monday, April 20, 2015

Both artists in the River Gallery May exhibit "Contemplations of the Spirit" create contemplative work that celebrate the spirit. The exhibit will run May 1-31.

North Carolina ceramicist Becky Gray's sculptural pottery conveys her view of the inherent goodness of mankind.  Cloistered nun and artist Sister Mary Grace Thul views making art as prayer.  She invites the viewer to find inner peace through her oil painting and collages.

The artists will be at the opening reception on Friday, May 15, 6:30-8 p.m. Events are free and open to the public.

River Gallery is at 400 E. Second St.
