Eastern National Book Signing With Author Robert Carter Is May 2

Eastern National, a partner to the National Park Service, invites the public to meet author Robert Carter Saturday, May 2.   

Mr. Carter will lead a tour at Snodgrass Hill beginning at 9:30 a.m. Immediately following, Mr. Carter will be available inside the Chickamauga Battlefield Visitor Center to sign his books, “Fight for Snodgrass Hill and the Rock of Chickamauga” and “Longstreet’s Breakthrough at Chickamauga.”

Mr.

Carter received his bachelor of science and master's degrees from Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama. He is an educator of 40 years, teaching in Georgia, Virginia, and Alabama. A Georgia resident, he shares his knowledge and love of history during his frequent visits to Chickamauga Battlefield.

The public can meet the author and discuss events that determined the outcome of the September 1863 Battle of Chickamauga.
