She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, of 46 years, Edward Carl Broome, Sr. and sister, Molly Hammond.
Norma is survived by her children, Karen Broome (Scott) Keith, Curtis (Deborah) Broome, Rodney Broome, and Eddie Broome, all of LaFayette; grandchildren, Shannon Broome, Ethan Broome, Brandon Broome, Sean Broome, Angel Kendrick, Zach Chandler and Jacob Broome; great-grandchildren, Brysen Sosebee Kendrick, Jase Kendrick, Lane Brown Broome, Lexi Broome, and Hadleigh Broome; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5–8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, and prior to the service on Thursday, April 30, at the funeral home.
The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 30, in the funeral home chapel with Brother Scott Keith officiating. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memory Gardens.
