Dennis Herbert Duncan, of Cleveland, Tennessee and formerly of Americus, Kansas, passed away Friday, May 15, 2015 in a local health care facility.
He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Emporia, Kansas.
Mr. Duncan was the son of the late Thomas James Duncan and Eva Marie Specht Duncan; and was also preceded in death by his two sons, Kirk Miles Duncan and Douglas Alan Duncan.
He is survived by his two children, Warren Duncan and wife Thu-ha Duncan of Cleveland and Natalie Denise Duncan of Emporia, KS; grandchildren, Colton Duncan of Cleveland, TN, Derek Duncan of Cleveland, TN, Lauren Duncan, Jodie Duncan and Kristin Hedges all of Emporia, KS and Sandy Duncan Tea of South Dakota; siblings, Alberta McFadden of Emporia, KS, James Duncan of Topeka, KS, Phillip Duncan of Emporia, KS, Larry Duncan of Wichita, KS and Patricia Lackey of Highland, KS; five great-grandchildren; and 11 nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 23, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Emporia, KS.
