Maggie Kathleen McGill, 83, of Menlo, Georgia, died on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, in Riverside Medical Center Franklinton, LA.
Mrs. McGill was born Sept. 16, 1931, in LaFayette, the daughter of the late Lester and Jewell Slayton Amos. She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church and was retired from the Summerville School Lunch Room.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. McGill.
Survivors include a son, Robert L McGill, III, daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Billy Sumrall, three grandchildren, Harley Sumrall, Megan Walker, and Jordan Sumrall.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 27, at 2 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jimmy Wilborn officiating. Interment will follow in the LaFayette City Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her nephews.
Mrs. McGill will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 26, from 6-8 p.m.
