Rechoboth Baptist Church To Host VOICES Of Mobile On Monday

  • Friday, May 29, 2015
Rechoboth Baptist Church will host The VOICES of Mobile on Monday, at 7 p.m

The Voices of Mobile is a highly versatile, auditioned vocal ensemble consisting of 18 students from The University of Mobile. VOICES maintains a highly visible and consistent performing schedule in churches, schools, conferences, and civic events throughout the United States and abroad.

Recently, VOICES has performed at the Brooklyn Tabernacle Church in NY, Southern Baptist Convention Pastor’s Conference, the White House, Carnegie Hall in NYC, and the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France. They just returned from Israel, the Cayman Islands, and a Coast to Coast tour traveling as far west as California and as north as the New York.

Their recent audiences have included Condoleezza Rice, Tim Tebow, and President George W. Bush. In April, they sang for Dr. Ben Carson.

A great emphasis is placed on a desire to honor the Lord in word and deed as stated in the mission statement of the group; “Honor Him with our Lives and Praise Him with our VOICES.”

VOICES is produced by Dr. Roger Breland and musically directed by Andrew Goodwin.

Rechoboth Baptist Church is at 12622 Dayton Pike, Soddy Daisy, Tn. 37379, 423 332-5584.
