Sherri Herman
Northwest Georgia Bank welcomed Sherri Herman to the Ooltewah-Collegedale branch as Assistant Vice President-Branch Manager.
“Sherri is a long-time resident of Ooltewah and knows the market very well,” said Rich Balthrop, VP Retail and Sales. “We believe that her vast experience, coupled with the booming development of Ooltewah, will bring great success to the branch.”
Mrs. Herman began her career with Northwest in January 2008 as a specialist in the centralized loan processing department, earning a promotion to assistant manager of the Hamilton Place branch in December 2008. She was then promoted to Assistant Vice President-Branch Manager of the North Shore Branch in April 2010.
In 1998, she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga.Herman has served on the board of Chattanooga Room in the Inn, as secretary for Pro Re Bona, and as treasurer for the Chattanooga Apartment Association. She has also served as the Treasurer for the North Shore Merchants Collective since 2010.
Mrs. Herman lives in Ooltewah with her husband, Perry. They have a daughter, Maria who lives in Washington, D.C. and just received her Masters Degree in Public Administration from American University.
