Couple Seeks Special Permit For Weddings, Special Events At Grasshopper Road Site

A couple is seeking a special permit for special events and weddings at a site on Grasshopper Road.

Kevin and Teresa Scheiwe are set to go before the Planning Commission on Monday at 1 p.m. at the County Courthouse.

The Regional Planning Agency staff is recommending approval.

The couple wants to develop 10 acres of the 21-acre site with a barn to be used for the special events.

There will be 103 on-site parking spaces.

The property is on the north side of Grasshopper Road approximately 650 feet east of Highway 58.
