Dorothy Maybelle Combest Foote, 100, died on Monday, June 29, 2015 in a local health care facility.  

She was born June 11, 1915 in Peoria, Illinois to the late Albert and Mae Combest. 

She was retired from Miller Brothers after 10 years of service and was a member of Brainerd Presbyterian Church. 

Her sisters, Ruth Barnes and Rowena Clark and brother, Lauren Combest preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Steve Headrick; grandsons, Joshua (Hayley) Headrick and Matthew Headrick both of Chattanooga; granddaughter, Heather (Michael) Headrick Best of Chickamauga; and great-granddaughter, Madison Headrick of Chattanooga.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 6, at 1 p.m. at Lakewood Memory Gardens, East. 

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 5, from 2-4 p.m. at the East Brainerd Chapel. 

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
