  • Saturday, July 11, 2015
The Covenant volleyball program, under third-year head coach Joanna Ehman, has finalized its 2015 schedule. The Lady Scots will play 29 regular season contests with 16 against USA South competition.

Coming off a record-breaking season that saw Covenant win 27 matches, Ehman has compiled a challenging non-conference slate in addition to USA South matches.

Covenant will face 2014 NCAA Tournament participants Washington & Lee and Emory in non-conference play and Maryville twice during conference action.
The contest against Washington & Lee will take place in the Maryville College Invitational on Sept. 5, while the date for Emory in Atlanta is Sept. 11.

Additionally, Covenant will face new opponents in Lynchburg (Sept. 5 in Maryville), Johns Hopkins (Sept. 12 in Atlanta) and Susquehanna (Sept. 12 in Atlanta).

USA South play opens on Sept. 17 at Maryville and continues on Sept. 19 with a quad match at Barnes PE Center as Covenant will face Huntingdon and LaGrange. Covenant will host a second quad match during Homecoming on Oct. 10 as Averett and Ferrum visit Lookout Mountain.

Covenant is scheduled to face Birmingham Southern three times in non-conference action, while also facing SAA foes in Berry (Sept. 26), Centre (Sept. 26) and Sewanee twice (Sept. 1 and Sept. 29). The non-conference portion concludes on Oct. 21 with a home contest against Wesleyan.
