TVA Repaving Chickamauga Reservoir Day Use Parking Lots

  • Monday, August 24, 2015

The Tennessee Valley Authority is repaving the Chickamauga Reservoir day use area parking lots to help maintain one of the area’s most popular recreation spots.

Rotating parking lot closures begin Monday and will continue through Friday, Sept. 4. TVA day use area is off of Kings Point Road and Amnicola Highway

The Chickamauga Reservoir day use area will remain fully open on weekends. Paving is weather dependent and the closure is subject to change.  The public should follow all safety sign and park only in designated areas.  While repaving the lots during the work week, one parking lot will remain open at all times for the public to use.

Earlier this month, TVA installed a new public restroom at the swim beach.
