Chattanooga State Hosts Ivy Tech Community College

Representatives from Ivy Tech Community College, the Indiana Commission for Higher Education and the Indiana Department of Workforce Development will be at Chattanooga State Community College Wednesday to meet with leaders from the Tennessee Board of Regents, Chattanooga State, Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce and government officials.

While on campus, Ivy Tech representatives will learn about programs like TN Promise and TN Reconnect as well as the Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology and Chattanooga State’s workforce development initiatives.

The schedule includes a tour of the Volkswagen Academy and concludes with a tour of Wacker Institute on campus.

Ivy Tech Community College is Indiana’s largest public post-secondary institution with over 30 campuses around the state serving more than 200,000 students annually.

The Tennessee Board of Regents is among the nation’s largest higher education systems, governing 46 post-secondary educational institutions. The TBR system includes six universities, 13 two-year colleges and 27 colleges of applied technology, providing programs across the state to more than 200,000 students.
