Morning Pointe of Chattanooga at Shallowford residents are always thinking of ways to give back to the community and after celebrating National Dog Day, they decided to make gifts for homeless dogs in the area.

Seniors of the assisted living community enjoyed working together as they used the buddy system to create thick braided ropes made from scraps of fabric.  After making all of the toys, it was time to deliver.

When they visited the East Ridge Animal Shelter, they also donated dog treats and other fun, squeaky toys for the animals to play with.
