The Chattanooga Zoo will host the 2016 Banana Ball and Banana Split on Saturday, featuring Julie Scardina.

The Zoo's largest single fundraiser is the Banana Ball with all proceeds going directly towards the Zoo's capital campaign to bring a giraffe to Chattanooga.

Julie Scardina and her animal friends will be at the event, as well as food, drinks, music and the Zoo animals.

Banana Ball tickets are $75.  Banana Ball VIP tickets are $150 and include meeting and mingling with Ms. Scardina and some of her favorite animal friends, starting at 5:30 p.m.

The kids event, the Banana Split, returns this year.  Guests of all ages are welcome to enjoy a special presentation by Ms. Scardina and her animal friends. There will also be face painting, a bounce house, goody bags, animal encounters and sweet banana treats. This event will take place from 2-4 p.m. at the Zoo on Saturday. Ms. Scardina's presentation will begin at 3 p.m.  Tickets for the Banana Split are $20.
