Eva Smith McDade, 73, of Soddy Daisy, lost her battle with cancer after 11 years and went home to be with our Lord on Sunday, October 9, 2016
Eva retired from Walmart after several years of service. She loved flowers and cooking. She also enjoyed trips to small towns and spending time with her family.
Eva was preceded in death by her parents, Randolph and Lillian Smith; sister, Joan Alexander; husband, Glenn McDade; granddaughter, Tabitha Reno Norton.
She is survived by her children, Laura (Tracy) Reno, Amy (Jim) Millsaps, Eddie (Marcy) Smith, and Carlton Smith; grandchildren, Nick and Levi James, Katie Smith, Amber Wilson, Stacy Tomlinson, Lora Darnell, Randy and Rodney Smith; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Joyce Black; brother, Randolph Smith, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 12, at the North Chapel.
A Celebration of Eva’s Life will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, at the North Chapel. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, Tn.
