Glenn “Ducky” Dwayne Reid, 59, of Dalton, Georgia, died on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at his home.

Ducky was born May 27, 1957 in Atlanta, to the late Glenn Lewis and Venita Elizabeth Reid; and was also preceded at death by his brothers Kenneth and Jackie Reid.

He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Tammy Pace Reid of the residence; sons and daughters-in-law, Christian and Katelynn Reid of Clarksville, TN, Glenn and Beverly Paige Reid of Ellijay, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Cherron and Jeremy Mallett of Cohutta, GA, Amber and Jason Ridley of Chatsworth, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Glenda and Larry Eller of Ellijay, GA; grandchildren, Chelsey and Keisha Bradley, Carson Carter, Jakob and Alexis Reid, Grayson and Mason Ridley, Carleigh and Blane Mallett; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Glenn “Ducky” Dwayne Reid will be held Saturday Dec. 3 at 2 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with his family and friends speaking.

The family will receive friends at the funeral from 12-2 p.m. on Saturday.

Arrangements are by Ponders Melrose Chapel.
