Reality Check teaches ninth graders budgeting and emphasizes the connection between education and income by allowing students to role-play as heads of household while trying to provide for their families on a set budget. Community volunteers are needed to assist with this event. The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the 2016 Spirit of Innovation Awards! This event is comprised of an awards luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and an Innovation Fair (Miniature EXPO) from 10 to 11:30 a.m., with a period from 1 to 2 p.m. reserved for networking and brand exposure for Spirit of Innovation and Early Innovator finalists, previous winners, event sponsors and innovative community partners.
