Huesman Signs With New York Giants

  • Thursday, December 29, 2016
Former University of Tennessee at Chattanooga All-American Jacob Huesman signed with the NFL's New York Giants this week.  Huesman, a 2015 graduate of UTC, was a three-time Southern Conference Offensive Player of the Year.

Huesman left Chattanooga with most of the school's offensive records and was the fourth in FCS history with 40 rushing (43) and 40 passing (64) touchdowns.  He is one of only two in SoCon history with 4,000 passing and 4,000 rushing yards and is one of only three quarterbacks in FCS history with 4,000 rushing yards.

After graduating with a degree in Business, Huesman spent time with both the Philadelphia Eagles and the Tennessee Titans prior to the 2016 NFL season.
He also had a stint with the CFL's Saskatchewan Roughriders.

A quarterback throughout his collegiate career, Huesman has signed with the Giants practice squad as a running back.
