  • Tuesday, April 26, 2016

A HOPE class (Hands On Practical Experience) will be offered at the YMCA on Friday, May 27, from 4-5 p.m. or Saturday, May 28, from 9-10 a.m.

HOPE is a free community CPR class providing hands on practical experience in a simplified form of CPR using only chest compressions (no mouth-to-mouth breaths). Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) strikes about 360,000 people every year.

The class is free, but attendance is limited. Email jude24judy@yahoo.com to register.

It is not for certification; however, the YMCA offers several types of certified CPR classes starting at $30.
