Donald Patrick
Donald James “Donnie” Patrick, Sr., 62, of Soddy Daisy, died on April 27, 2016.
He was a member of the Soddy United Methodist Church. Donnie was an all-around outdoorsman; he loved to fish, loved animals and gardening. He was an avid coin collector, had previously been active with the Cub Scouts and the Boy Scouts and was also a musician, playing the drums and the guitar.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry and Jane Posey and his parents, Sue Posey Newman and Gene Newman.
Donnie is survived by his wife of 37 years, Cathy Patrick; sons, Donnie Patrick, Jr. (Megan) Andrew Patrick (Mat); brother, Bill Patrick; several aunts, uncles and cousins and two dogs, Rocko and Bailey.
The memorial service will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 29, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home. Visitation is from 3-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
