Legacy Ventures, the developers and managers of The Embassy Suites by Hilton Chattanooga Hamilton Place, announces hotel General Manager Paul Mezick is being recognized with the Embassy Suites General Manager Award of Merit for 2015.

Mr. Mezick was selected for demonstrating outstanding leadership, which enabled the hotel to excel in achieving overall guest service and cleanliness scores in the top five percent of the brand. Under Mr. Mezick’s leadership, the Embassy Suites by Hilton Chattanooga Hamilton Place experienced a record breaking year with over 20 percent growth in revenue per available room, exceeded budget projections and was consistently ranked the number one hotel in Chattanooga on TripAdvisor.

"Since opening in 2013, The Embassy Suites by Hilton Chattanooga Hamilton Place, which is owned by DeFoor Brothers Development, LLC, has been continually recognized for its excellence, also winning The Embassy Suites Hotel of the Year Award in 2014," officials said.

The hotel also houses a Ruth’s Chris Steak House, managed by Andrew Penland and Executive Chef Roger Burrows, who were recently named the Franchise Leadership Team of the Year by Ruth’s Chris. This honor is bestowed upon a single leadership team among all franchises worldwide and recognizes operational excellence, including highest annual mystery shop averages, highest health inspection scores and overall sales performace.

The restaurant, which is owned and operated by Chattanooga Sizzling, LLC, operates in conjunction with Legacy Ventures management philosophy of creating "timeless places and delivering exceptional customer experiences through an engaged and passionate team."

“We are extremely proud of Paul Mezick, Andrew Penland and Roger Burrows who all work together in a seamless relationship of pairing a great hotel with fine dining to deliver an outstanding guest experience,” said David Marvin, president and founder of Legacy Ventures.

“The partnership we have created at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Chattanooga Hamilton Place exemplifies our unique management vision to combine first class hospitality with excellence in fine dining.  This is a philosophy that we follow throughout our hospitality management practice, with each of our managed hotels incorporating a brand name or independent restaurant,” said Mr. Marvin.
