Catherine Rose Gamble, 86, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016 at a local health care facility.
She was a member of North Cleveland Baptist Church. She was retired from South Central Bell after 22 years of service. She was a graduate of Charleston High School where she was a member of the Basketball team. Catherine was a huge fan of the UT Lady Vols. She enjoyed time spent with her pet Yorkie Poo, Pepper.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harding “H. G.” Gamble; parents, Roscoe and Chloe Beck; sister, Dorothy Gentry; and brothers, Leslie Beck, Kenneth Beck, Clyde Beck and Charles Beck.
Survivors include her son, John Gamble and wife Pansy of Cleveland; grandsons, Shaw Gamble and Jackson Gamble of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Sunday, April 10, in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Dr. Jay McCluskey officiating.
Interment will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 11 in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Her family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday, April 10 at the Fike Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
