Dalton State Qualifies For NAIA Men's Golf Championship

Dalton State is one of only two Southern States Athletic Conference teams to compete in the 65th annual National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Men’s Golf Championship tournament to be held May 24-27 at TPC Deer Run near Moline, Il. Pairings for the tournament will be announced Friday.  

The No. 12 ranked Roadrunners and now No. 2 ranked Coastal Georgia made the list announced Thursday evening. Dalton State had moved up three spots in the final NAIA Men’s Golf Coaches’ Top 25, which was announced by national office earlier on Thursday.
The Mariners fell to second place.

The 156-player field consists of 20 automatic qualifying teams, 10 at-large berths, and seven individual golfers.
