GDOL Will Help Lookout Mountain Community Services Recruit In LaFayette

The Georgia Department of Labor will help fill up to 20 positions for Lookout Mountain Community Services, an organization that provides assistance to special-needs individuals.

The recruitment will be held Thursday, May 19, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m at the GDOL’s LaFayette Career Center located at 200 West Villanow St.

The employer is recruiting nurses, peer counselors, and social services technicians.

Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, all applications must be at least 18 years old. Also, they must have at least a high school diploma or a General Education Diploma.

Experience and certification requirements will vary depending on the position. Those with previous experience working with adults with serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI) and military veterans are encouraged to apply.
