Glenn Carter
Jesse Glenn Carter, Jr., 94, of Hixson, died on Thursday, June 23, 2016.
Mr. Carter retired from Commonwealth Life Insurance Company after many years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corps, and a member of Soddy Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta Carter; parents, Glenn Sr. and Stacie Carter; grandson, Brian Carter; brother, Paul Nelson Carter.
Survivors include his sons, David (Nina) Carter, Larry (Mary Lynn) Carter and Paul (Carolyn) Carter; grandchildren, Kristen, Scott, Alan and Christopher Carter, Lauren (Adam) DeGardeyns; great-grandsons, Austin Carter and Samson DeGardeyns.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, in the funeral home chapel with Bill Greer officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, June 24, at the funeral home.
