Linda Ramey
Linda Sue Ramey, 68, of Harrison, Tennessee, died on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at her residence.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Linda and her husband, Terry owned Linda's Produce of East Ridge. Her passions in life were her family and her fruit stand. She was hardworking and very spirited. Her bright smile and positive sense of humor would always light up the room. She was a selfless, gracious lady. She loved to cook and serve others. Her passion for family was obvious in everything she did. She couldn't go shopping without picking up something for someone else. She touched the lives of many and left lasting impressions. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, R. T. and Pauline Manning and brothers, Richard Allen Manning and Terry Lee Manning.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Terry Ramey, children, Mark (Vanessa) Ramey, Lee Ramey, and Samantha Ramey, grandchildren, Allegra Ramey, Ian Ramey, Liam Ramey, brothers, Larry Wayne Manning and Robert Thomas Manning, several nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Salvation Army.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 2, at 1:30 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, Hixson.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 1, from 3–8 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
