Brock, Gary G. (Trenton)

Gary G. Brock, 72, of Trenton, Georgia, passed away peacefully early Sunday morning July 17, 2016 at his home.

He served the City of Chattanooga Fire Department for over 14 years as a firefighter before moving to Trenton and opening Brock’s Restaurant, which he operated for over 20 years. He also owned and operated Gary’s Bail Bonds. He was a member of the Trenton Church of Christ.

Mr. Brock was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo McBryar Brock; parents, W. Franklin and Lucy Brock; and brothers, Franklin Brock, Bill Brock and J.C.Ayers.

Survivors include his children; Susan (Jeff) Townson, Mike (Michelle) Brock and Jerry (Krista) Brock, all of Chattanooga; brother, Doug Brock; sister, Sonya Hunt; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Chattanooga. A special Thank You to Candie Nasworthy for the love and care shown to him.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday July 19, in the chapel of Ryan Funeral Home with Minister Don Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Trenton Baptist Cemetery.

Family will receive friends on Monday, July 18 from 4-8 p.m. and Tuesday, July 19 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, Trenton, who has charge of the arrangements.
