Brenda Carnes Kell, 67, of Red Bank, died on Friday, June 22, 2016.

She was born on June 15, 1949, in Chattanooga and was a lifelong resident. 

She was a 1967 graduate of Red Bank High School and spent her working career in the home health care service, serving others. 

She was a member of Ridge View Baptist Church. 

Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Carnes, Jr.; her grandparents, Otis and Pearl Carnes and Roy and Vacie Ferry. 

She is survived by her husband, John Kell; mother, Ruth Carnes Corder; sister, Wilma (David) Gore; brother, LeBron (Bronny) Carnes; nephews, Darren (Rhonda) Gore, Mark Gore, Josh (Courtney) Carnes, Caleb (Harper) Carnes; niece, Allison (Paul) Knox; six great-nephews and four great-nieces. 

A funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor James W. Sprayberry D.Min. officiating. 

Interment will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park. 

The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, July 25, from 2-6 p.m. and on Tuesday, July 26, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
