Home run slugger Daniel Palka hit No. 21 in Monday's win

The Chattanooga Lookouts defeated the Birmingham Barons, 11-5 in front of a sell out crowd of 6,356 at AT&T Field.
Fireworks began early at AT&T Field as the Lookouts scored one run on a Niko Goodrum RBI double and two more on a Mitch Garver blast to left field.
Up three runs the Barons snagged one run in the second on a Keon Barnum solo shot.
The Lookouts offensive output continued in the third as Stuart Turner scored on a single up the middle. They then scored their fifth run on a wild pitch by Jordan Guerrero.
The back-and-forth affair continued in the fourth as Birmingham scored two more runs.
Chattanooga answered again an inning later, this time on Daniel Palka's league leading 21st homer. Later in the inning Garver scored on a DJ Hicks single .Palka has hit eight homers off the Barons in 11 games thus far this season.
Garver ended up being the star of the night for the home team, finishing a triple away from the cycle with four runs and two RBIs.
With the score 7-3, the Barons still battled, scoring two runs in the sixth.
Now 7-5 the Lookouts scored four unanswered runs to close out the Barons. The team finished with 14 hits and scored five runs on four wild pitches.
Raul Fernandez and Zack Jones relieved starting pitcher David Hurlbut and combined for 3.1 shutout innings and five strikeouts.
The Lookouts have won three games in a row and are tied with Tennessee for second in the league.
