Joe Harrell, 72, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Harrel in 2008; and a brother, Richard Harrell.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Charles Longmire of Rocky Face; sons, Michael and Lee Harrell, both of Dalton; a sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Steve Lusk of Pulaski, TN.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Wanda Harrell of Florida, Aubrey Harrell of Dalton, Wayne and Margaret Harrell of Maryville, TN., Denny and Marilyn Harrell of Resaca, and Ray and Margarita Harrell of Carlsbad, NM.; grandchildren, Jennifer Newton, Michael Harrell, Madeline Stout, Lexi Harrell, Tallon Harrell, Donovan Carroll and Courtney Dickerson; great-grandchildren, Kristen, Allie, and Harper Newton and Eli Harrell; and nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Monday, Aug. 22 at 3 p.m. at the Westside Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Dr. Charles Longmire officiating. Burial will be in Murray Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 200 West Emory Street, Suite 3, Dalton, GA 30720.
