Connectivity Drive To Provide Families With Low-Cost Internet Options

  • Tuesday, August 23, 2016

Several organizations have partnered to organize eight Connectivity Drive events at five different schools in Hamilton County. The goal of these events is to get more families connected to the Internet for as little as $10/month. The event will include representatives from various ISP’s: T-Mobile, Comcast, EPB and AT&T.

The organizations participating include Tech Goes Home Chattanooga/The Enterprise Center, Public Education Foundation, Hamilton County Schools, Benwood Foundation and internet service providers.

One of the events will be at East Lake Academy, 2700 East 34th St., on Thursday from 5:30–7:30 p.m. as part of East Lake Academy’s Tech Night & Open House.  Volunteers and internet service providers will be there to provide information about the available options and help families sign-up for low-cost Internet plans.
