Robert Grider
Robert Leonard Grider, 73, died on Saturday, August 27, 2016.
He was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, a U.S. Air Force veteran, and a member of East Ridge Church of Christ. He retired after 35 years as a brick mason.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Alice Bowman Grider; brother, Richard Grider.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Grider; sons, Charles (Elizabeth) Bowden, Eddy (Stephanie) Grider and John (Tina) Grider; daughters, Kelly Gray and Elisha Grider; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a nephew and several nieces.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Aug. 30, from 4-8 p.m. at the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home and on Wednesday, Aug. 31, from 12-1 p.m. at East Ridge Church of Christ.
The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastors Charles Cochran and David East officiating.
Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
